Rowan Atkinson to return to London's West End in new sketch show Rowan Live

On Monday, October 5, 2026, Rowan Atkinson, the 71-year-old British comedian, announced his return to the West End stage in London with a new show titled Rowan Live. The show will feature his famous characters like Blackadder and Mr. Bean, along with new material. It will run for 30 performances at the Gillian Lynne Theatre from February 8 to March 13, 2027. Atkinson will reunite with Blackadder co-writers Richard Curtis and Ben Elton, and composer Howard Goodall. This marks his first West End comedy sketch show in 40 years.
