Bahrain refuses to join Iran in Strait of Hormuz discussions

Bahrain announced on Saturday that it will not participate in a meeting in Oman with Iran and Gulf states to discuss the Strait of Hormuz. The decision follows Iran's blockade of the strait during the ongoing Middle East war. Bahrain's foreign ministry stated that it will not engage in discussions with Iran until diplomatic relations are restored, which were severed in 2016.
