Pakistani airstrikes kill three in Afghanistan, breaking months of calm

On Monday, Pakistani airstrikes killed at least three people in northeastern Afghanistan, breaking nearly three months of relative calm between the two countries. The strikes hit a house in Kunar province, killing three family members and injuring four others, and also targeted two locations in Paktika province, causing property damage but no casualties. The attack came days after a police facility in northwestern Pakistan was attacked, killing at least 31 people.
