Aliko Dangote plans to double Nigeria refinery capacity and list on New York Stock Exchange
Aliko Dangote, President of Dangote Industries Limited, reaffirmed the company's commitment to Africa's industrial transformation during an interview with Bloomberg Television. He discussed the ongoing Dangote Petroleum Refinery IPO, which offers Africans a chance to become shareholders in the continent's largest refinery. Dangote announced plans to expand the refinery's capacity from 700,000 to 1.4 million barrels per day and to seek a listing on the New York Stock Exchange after the expansion. The IPO is part of a broader vision to democratise ownership of strategic African assets and create sustainable value for investors across the continent.
