National Toy Hall of Fame in the United States announces 12 finalists for its 2026 class

On Wednesday, September 16, 2026, the National Toy Hall of Fame in Rochester, New York, United States, announced the 12 finalists for its Class of 2026. The finalists include Tickle Me Elmo, Bingo, the playground slide, Care Bears, Yahtzee, Mahjong, the Pokémon Trading Card Game, Bop It!, Monster High dolls, Polly Pocket, and the board games Mouse Trap and Sorry!. Public voting runs from September 16 to 23, and a panel of judges will also vote. The three winners will be announced in November and will join the 90 toys already in the Hall.
