Arab League supports Qatar's Olympic bid for 2036

In Cairo, the Arab League Council affirmed its support for Qatar's bid to host the 2036 Olympic and Paralympic Games. This endorsement, made during the 166th Ordinary Session, aims to enhance the Arab presence in global sports. The Council called on member states to support Qatar's candidacy in international forums and tasked the Secretariat General with following up on the resolution's implementation.
