Venezuela signs 25-year energy deal with the U.S

Venezuela's interim President Delcy Rodriguez announced a new energy agreement with the U.S. that will last for 25 years. The deal aims to boost oil production to 1.5 million barrels per day and is expected to generate approximately $209 billion in revenue for the Venezuelan government. Rodriguez emphasized that the country will maintain ownership and sovereignty over its natural resources while leveraging U.S. expertise to recover its energy sector.
