Richard E Grant becomes first Traitor banished on first vote in UK Celebrity Traitors

In the UK, actor Richard E Grant was banished from the BBC show Celebrity Traitors on Thursday, October 8, 2026, after receiving 18 votes from fellow contestants. This marked the first time a Traitor was banished on the first vote in the show's history. Grant, who had accidentally revealed his role as a Traitor in the first episode, said, "I have been annihilated." His fellow Traitors, Maya Jama and James Acaster, also voted against him. The remaining Traitors must now decide whether to recruit a new member or continue as a duo.
