Sir Kevin Sinfield completes seven ultramarathons in seven days, raising over £1 million for motor neurone disease charities in the UK

Sir Kevin Sinfield, a former rugby league player, completed his final ultra-running challenge in the United Kingdom, running seven ultramarathons in seven days to raise money for motor neurone disease charities. The challenge, called '7 in 7: The Grand Finale', started in Hull on September 27 and ended at Old Trafford Stadium in Manchester on October 3, ahead of the Super League Grand Final. Sinfield visited all 12 Super League club grounds and was joined by members of the MND community. The event raised over £1 million for charities including the MND Association and Leeds Hospitals Charity, in memory of his friend Rob Burrow.
