Auckland, New Zealand, to host BNZ Diwali Festival on October 31 and November 1, 2026

The BNZ Auckland Diwali Festival, one of the largest Diwali celebrations in the Southern Hemisphere, will take place in central Auckland, New Zealand, on October 31 and November 1, 2026. The free event will feature traditional and contemporary Indian performances, vegetarian food, workshops, and family activities across Aotea Square and surrounding venues. It will also include new experiences like an Indian art exhibition and projection mapping. The festival is supported by Auckland Council and BNZ, and is part of a year-long programme celebrating India-New Zealand connections through sport and culture.
