U2 recognized as MusiCares' 2027 Persons of the Year

In Ireland, U2 has been named MusiCares' 2027 Persons of the Year, recognizing their music and humanitarian efforts. The honor will be celebrated at a gala on February 5, 2027, in Los Angeles, just before the Grammy Awards. U2, consisting of Bono, The Edge, Adam Clayton, and Larry Mullen Jr., has won 22 Grammy Awards and sold over 170 million albums, while also supporting various philanthropic initiatives.
