This final tranche fulfilled SoftBank's commitment to OpenAI's last fundraising round, which had raised $122 billion in total commitments, valuing the company at $852 billion. With this investment, SoftBank's cumulative investment in OpenAI reaches $64.6 billion, giving it a 13% stake. The investment was funded through a $11.1 billion high-yield bond sale and a $40 billion bridge loan, of which $10 billion was canceled after the completion.
