Saudi Arabia vows firm response to Houthi attacks wounding 13

Saudi Arabia vowed to respond firmly to Houthi attacks that wounded 13 people in the kingdom on Monday. The Iran-backed rebels used ballistic missiles and drones to target Khamis Mushait, Abha, and Taif, causing damage to homes and vehicles. The Saudi-led coalition confirmed the attacks and issued air-raid alerts in several regions. In response, the coalition launched over 50 strikes. The Houthis have been fighting Saudi-backed forces since Yemen's civil war reignited in July, and they recently seized control of Yemen's Red Sea coast and the Bab al-Mandab Strait. The conflict has pushed oil prices above $100 per barrel.
