Obi-Kwankwaso Movement unveils 59-member campaign council for Nigeria's 2027 presidential election

The Obi-Kwankwaso Movement, a political alliance in Nigeria, has unveiled a 59-member Presidential Campaign Council ahead of the 2027 general elections. The council, announced on Thursday, includes zonal and state coordinators and directors for various key areas. The movement is supporting the joint presidential ticket of Peter Obi and Rabiu Kwankwaso. The unveiling comes as the movement intensifies its preparations to mobilise support across the country. The council's structure includes representatives from all six geopolitical zones and the Federal Capital Territory, with state coordinators for each of the 36 states.
