Henry Golding narrates new Thomas the Tank Engine series with 13-year-old Harry Sparkes voicing Thomas

A new Thomas the Tank Engine animated series, Thomas & Friends: Railway Stories, has been announced. Henry Golding, known for Crazy Rich Asians, narrates the show, while 13-year-old Harry Sparkes from Hertfordshire, England, voices Thomas. The series debuts on YouTube with a special episode, followed by a broadcast on Channel 5's Milkshake! in October, and a full series in early 2027. Mattel, the franchise owner, promises a refreshed world of Sodor while celebrating the classic railway action.
