Son of Israel's US ambassador critically injured in West Bank car-ramming attack

On Wednesday, Neria Leiter, a reserve soldier and son of Israel's ambassador to the US, was critically injured in a vehicle-ramming attack at a checkpoint near Beit Horon in the occupied West Bank. The attacker, a Palestinian man, was killed by Israeli forces. Leiter was taken to a Jerusalem hospital. His father, Ambassador Yechiel Leiter, appealed for prayers, noting his son needed a miracle. The family had previously lost another son in Gaza. Israeli President Isaac Herzog expressed support.
