Samsung raises Galaxy S26 smartphone prices by up to 17 percent in India

In India, Samsung has increased the prices of its Galaxy S26 series smartphones by up to 17 percent ahead of the festive season. The base model with 256 GB storage now costs Rs 1,02,999, up from its January launch price of Rs 87,999. Other variants also saw increases, with the top-end S26 Ultra with 1 TB storage now priced at Rs 2,14,999. Industry sources attribute the hike to rising costs of memory chips and other electronic components. This follows Apple's similar price increases for its iPhone 18 series in India.
