Brandon McCoy Jr. sidelined for season with knee injury

In the United States, Michigan freshman guard Brandon McCoy Jr. will miss the entire 2026-27 season due to a right knee injury. The injury, an ACL tear, occurred during an exhibition game in Montenegro. McCoy was a highly ranked recruit, averaging 14.5 points in his first two games during Michigan's European tour.
