The Credito Emiliano S.p.A’s Magazini Generali delle Tagliate (MGT) confirmed that cheese wheels are safely stored and aged, despite increased energy consumption. The Parmigiano Reggiano consortium stated that current production levels are not at risk, as farms employ measures to keep dairy cattle comfortable.
