Claudia Winkleman says she is too thick to compete on Celebrity Traitors in the UK

Claudia Winkleman, host of the BBC reality show The Traitors, has said she would never compete on the celebrity version because she believes she is not clever enough. Speaking at a press event ahead of the second series, which begins on 1 October 2026, she said: "I'm too thick." The show features celebrities trying to identify hidden traitors. The first celebrity series was won by traitor Alan Carr and was a major hit. The new series includes actors Michael Sheen and Bella Ramsey, supermodel Jerry Hall, and presenter Maya Jama.
