Los Angeles Rams defensive tackle Aaron Donald out for Eagles game with sore back

On Friday, October 2, 2026, the Los Angeles Rams announced that defensive tackle Aaron Donald will miss Sunday's game against the Philadelphia Eagles due to a sore back. Donald, a three-time AP Defensive Player of the Year, did not practice all week. Wide receiver Puka Nacua will return after missing two games with a hip and groin injury. The Rams also ruled out tight end Terrance Ferguson and cornerback Jaylen Watson, while tight end Colby Parkinson is questionable. The team waived return specialist Xavier Smith and may promote Alex Bachman for special teams.
