Kazakhstan's labor market is gradually changing, with a growing emphasis on in-demand skills and stronger collaboration between employers and the education system. Digital tools are helping job seekers find work faster. Public perception of working-class jobs is divided, with nearly half seeing respect and a significant portion seeing a lack of recognition. In 2025, 1,800 out of 2,500 people who completed on-the-job training found employment. The government is also focusing on workplace safety, using a Labor Risk Map to prevent accidents, as 969 workers were injured in 2026.
