China's Astronaut Center completes bed rest experiment and advances lunar spacesuit for 2030 moon landing
China is advancing its crewed lunar landing program, targeting 2030. At a conference in Tianjin, the Astronaut Center of China reported progress on the lunar spacesuit Wangyu, which has achieved dozens of key technologies. Additionally, the Dixing-3 bed rest experiment, completed this year, tested volunteers in 15- and 30-day bed rest to study physiological effects. Results show the experiment protects bone, muscle, and cardiovascular systems, providing technical support for long-term space missions and lunar landings.
