Student-Led List Approved for Serbia's October Parliamentary Election

In Serbia, the Republic Electoral Commission (RIK) proclaimed the electoral list "Studentska lista - Studenti pobeđuju" for the early parliamentary elections scheduled for October 25. The announcement followed a march by students and citizens from the Rectorate to the RIK building, where they delivered signatures collected across the country. The public assembly archive reported about 8,700 participants. Students stated that their candidate list was developed through a transparent, collective process over more than a year of blockades, plenums, and discussions, rather than being chosen by party leaders. This proclamation allows the student-led list to compete in the upcoming elections.
