On September 17, 2026, Burkina Faso's Council of Ministers, led by President Ibrahim Traore, met in Ouagadougou. They approved ambassador appointments from Guinea, Congo, and Norway, and adopted a decree regulating headquarters agreements. The Council also reviewed a law on marine biodiversity conservation. Several appointments were made, including Arsène OUEDRAOGO as head of Faso FDA and Joseph TANDAMBA as head of CIM-Sahel. Board members for ENGSP and Faso FDA were also appointed.
