Zelensky fires prosecutor general over fraud allegations

The National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU) uncovered a network that allegedly received bribes to shield these illegal call centers, which defrauded victims of millions of dollars. Kravchenko denied the allegations and said he was on a foreign mission. He also filed a complaint against NABU's director. Zelensky urged parliament to approve the dismissal without delay. The dismissal order was published on the presidential website. This scandal is part of a broader pattern of corruption in Ukraine, which has been a persistent issue, especially during the ongoing war with Russia.
