British actress Beverley Callard collapses on Irish soap set, ambulance called

British actress Beverley Callard, 69, fainted on the set of the Irish soap Fair City and an ambulance was called. She was unconscious for about ten minutes and felt boiling hot. Callard, who is being treated for breast cancer, shared the news with her followers. She later said she had been resting and cancelled all commitments except a visit to a dog sanctuary with her husband Jon. The cause of the fainting is unknown, but she was checked by ambulance crew and allowed to go home.
