Dutch software firm Intelic tests AI-guided interceptor drone for Ukraine's defense

At a disused Dutch airbase, software company Intelic tested an AI-guided interceptor drone that successfully intercepted a mock enemy target. The test is part of a €30 million contract with the Dutch Defence Ministry. Intelic, based in Amsterdam, also has an office in Kyiv and is helping Ukrainian forces with its Nexus command-and-control system, which integrates different drone types. The system can operate autonomously or assist human commanders in making quick decisions. European aid for drones has increased significantly, with the Netherlands contributing €1.4 billion since 2022. The technology aims to adapt to rapidly changing drone warfare.
