Shepparton defeats Echuca to win under-18 football grand final in Australia's Goulburn Valley League

On September 20, 2026, the Goulburn Valley Football Netball League held its grand final day at Deakin Reserve in Shepparton, Australia. Eight grand finals were played across football and netball. In the under-18 football grand final, Shepparton defeated Echuca with a score of 10.13 (73) to 4.19 (43). Spencer Sharp and Archer Hueston from Shepparton received best-on-ground medals, while Echuca's Darby Jones won the Garry Lyon Medal for player of the finals series. Echuca also won the reserves football grand final and the under-17 netball grand final, while Seymour won the B-reserve netball grand final.
