Polestar launches 5 electric luxury sedan in Germany, priced from 118,600 euros

Polestar, the Swedish electric car brand, has launched its new flagship model, the Polestar 5, a luxury electric sedan, in Germany. The car starts at 118,600 euros and deliveries begin in October. It features a bonded aluminum body, a newly developed platform, and dual electric motors producing up to 884 horsepower. The battery has a 112 kWh capacity with 800-volt architecture for fast charging. The interior includes Recaro seats and a 14.5-inch touchscreen with Android Automotive. Despite its performance, it lacks rear-axle steering and air suspension, which Polestar says improves driving. Cargo space is limited at 365 liters.
