Ukraine's agriculture minister says no Black Sea grain export ceasefire expected soon
Ukraine's Agriculture Minister Taras Vysotskyi said in Brussels that Kyiv sees no positive signs of a Black Sea grain export ceasefire in the coming months, as Russia has rejected all proposals from partners. Strikes have cut Ukraine's export capacity, with alternative routes only able to handle 50% of needs, risking 30 million tons of unsold commodities. The European Commission denied a €220 million aid request, but a World Bank loan will help until year-end. Meanwhile, Russia's foreign minister accused Europe of waging war on Russia, and Putin addressed parliament with no sign of stopping the invasion.
