Shaun Edwards joins England women's rugby coaching staff for WXV Global Series

Shaun Edwards, a renowned rugby coach, has joined the England women's rugby team, the Red Roses, as a short-term consultant. This is his first role with an English national team. The appointment follows the team's recent draw with Canada, which ended their 39-match winning streak. Edwards will work with defence coach Sarah Hunter during the WXV Global Series, starting with a match against New Zealand at Twickenham. He brings experience from coaching Wales and France, where he won multiple Six Nations titles. England's head coach, John Mitchell, welcomed Edwards, citing his exceptional credentials and the value he will add to the team.
