Iraqi man charged for failing to disclose information on Manchester synagogue attack

In October 2025, a terrorist attack at the Heaton Park Hebrew Congregation synagogue in Manchester, UK, resulted in the deaths of two worshippers, Melvin Cravitz and Adrian Daulby. The assailant, Jihad Al-Shamie, was shot dead by police after attacking with a knife. Hekmat Omar Ali Hakim, 49, has been charged with failing to disclose information related to the attack and is set to appear in court.
