Sir Kevin Sinfield raises over 500,000 pounds for motor neurone disease charities in England ultra marathon challenge

Sir Kevin Sinfield, former rugby league player, is running an ultra marathon every day for seven days across England to raise money for motor neurone disease (MND) charities. The challenge, called '7 in 7: The Grand Finale', started on September 27, 2026, at Hull KR's Craven Park and will finish at Old Trafford before the Super League Grand Final. By the second day, he had raised over £500,000, with a target of £777,777. He was joined by Sir Gareth Southgate and the Princess Royal, and funds will go to six MND charities.
