San Francisco 49ers become first NFL team in 21 years to allow no sacks in first four games

The San Francisco 49ers, an American football team, achieved a rare feat by not allowing a single sack in their first four games of the 2026 season, after a 24-14 win over the Denver Broncos. This is the first time in 21 years an NFL team has done this, with the last being the Indianapolis Colts in 2005. The offensive line, led by left tackle Trent Williams, has protected quarterback Brock Purdy well. The team's next challenge is a game against the Seattle Seahawks, who sacked Purdy five times in two losses last season.
