Indonesia's Danantara Sumberdaya Indonesia launches pilot export monitoring platform for commodities

On October 1, 2026, Indonesia's state-owned company Danantara Sumberdaya Indonesia (DSI) launched the pilot phase of its National Data Intelligence (NADI) platform to supervise exports of major commodities. The platform will monitor shipments of palm oil, coal, and ferroalloys, starting with selected exporters. DSI had already been monitoring these exports since June 1 using other government platforms. The initiative aims to increase transparency and ensure that export proceeds benefit Indonesia. DSI CEO Luke Mahony stated that the priority is to enhance transparency while keeping export activities running smoothly. The platform will collect data on volumes, prices, shipments, and settlements to identify discrepancies.
