Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney buy historic pub next to Wrexham's stadium in Wales

In Wrexham, Wales, the celebrity co-owners of Wrexham AFC, Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney, have purchased The Turf, a historic pub adjacent to the Racecourse Ground. The pub, originally the Turf Hotel, is where the club was founded in 1864 and features prominently in the docuseries "Welcome to Wrexham." The acquisition brings the pub under the same ownership as the club and stadium. Landlord Wayne Jones will continue managing the pub. The club described the purchase as a strategy to protect its future and preserve the pub's history.
