Saudi Arabia issues air raid alerts for Riyadh after warning of hostile aerial threat

Saudi Arabia issued air raid alerts for Riyadh and other cities early Saturday after warning of a hostile aerial threat. The alerts, the first for the capital since the escalation with Yemen's Houthi rebels, were lifted without casualties or damage. The Houthis have recently intensified attacks on Saudi territory, including a drone attack that shut down a key pipeline. The UN Security Council condemned the attacks and called for enforcing an arms embargo. Separately, Iran executed a man convicted of spying for Israel's Mossad.
