Anthony Joshua gives up over 10 million pounds to keep Tyson Fury fight in Britain
Anthony Joshua has agreed to give up more than ten million pounds in earnings to ensure his fight against Tyson Fury takes place in the United Kingdom. The decision was announced by his promoter Eddie Hearn, who said Joshua chose the UK over a more lucrative offer to fight in New York. The fight will be held at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales, with a capacity of 80,000. Saudi boxing chief Turki Alalshikh, who preferred Wembley, said moving the fight from New York cost him 53 million pounds. Joshua also enlisted the help of Tyson Fury's uncle Peter Fury for training advice.
