Netflix releases trailer for Brad Pitt's Cliff Booth sequel, sparking fan complaints about dark footage

On September 22, 2026, Netflix released the trailer for The Further Mis-Adventures of Cliff Booth, a sequel to Once Upon a Time... in Hollywood. Directed by David Fincher from a script by Quentin Tarantino, the film stars Brad Pitt as Cliff Booth, set in 1977. Fans immediately complained about the trailer's dark and murky visuals. The film will be released in IMAX on November 25 and on Netflix on December 23. Tarantino also announced a novelization titled The Adventures of Cliff Booth.
