Jeremy Strong method acts as Mark Zuckerberg in Aaron Sorkin's The Social Reckoning

Jeremy Strong, known for method acting, played Mark Zuckerberg in Aaron Sorkin's film The Social Reckoning. During filming, Strong stayed in character, speaking and walking differently and avoiding socializing with other actors. The film is based on the Facebook Papers scandal, where former employee Frances Haugen leaked documents to reporter Jeff Horwitz. Strong contacted Zuckerberg after being cast, and Zuckerberg responded. Strong defended Zuckerberg during filming, but after his last shot, he told Sorkin he would have defended Horwitz if he had played that role. The film also stars Mikey Madison and Jeremy Allen White, and is due for release on October 9.
