Browns place running back Dylan Sampson on injured reserve
The Cleveland Browns placed running back Dylan Sampson on injured reserve on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, after he injured his left knee during the first quarter of their 34-10 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday. Sampson, a second-year player, will miss at least four games. The team signed Jaleel McLaughlin from the practice squad to fill the roster spot. McLaughlin previously played for the Denver Broncos for three seasons. In the game, the Browns managed only 87 rushing yards, and Raheim "Rocket" Sanders took over kick return duties, returning one 74 yards to set up a field goal.
