Police fatally shoot man on Brooklyn Bridge after he threatens officers with knife

In New York City, police fatally shot a man on the Brooklyn Bridge after he approached them with a knife. The incident occurred around 3:30 a.m. when officers responded to a 911 call about a man on the bridge cables. Despite attempts to communicate and de-escalate the situation, the man moved toward the officers, leading to the shooting. He was later pronounced dead at Bellevue Hospital.
