UK lawmakers to investigate Britain's poor Eurovision song contest results

The UK's poor Eurovision results have prompted a parliamentary investigation. The Digital, Culture, Media and Sport Committee, chaired by Dame Caroline Dinenage, will examine how the BBC selects the UK's entry. This follows the UK's last-place finish in 2026 with Look Mum No Computer, who scored one point. The UK has only finished above 15th place once in the last 15 years, with Sam Ryder's second place in 2022. The committee will hear from BBC and music industry experts to understand the reasons behind the poor performance.
