Chargers place wide receiver KeAndre Lambert-Smith on injured reserve

The Los Angeles Chargers placed wide receiver KeAndre Lambert-Smith on injured reserve on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, after he injured his hamstring during Sunday's 26-14 loss to the Arizona Cardinals. Lambert-Smith played only two special teams snaps in the game. To fill his roster spot, the Chargers signed wide receiver Gary Jennings from their practice squad and added cornerback Isas Waxter to the practice squad. Lambert-Smith, a fifth-round pick in 2025, had five catches for 51 yards and a touchdown in 10 games as a rookie.
