Buffalo Bills Quarterback Josh Allen Backs Struggling New England Patriots Quarterback Drake Maye

New England Patriots quarterback Drake Maye has struggled in the 2026-27 NFL season, completing 63.7% of his passes for 585 yards, one touchdown, and six interceptions in three games. The Patriots are 1-2 after a 35-6 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars, during which Maye threw two interceptions and suffered a shoulder injury. Despite the injury, he is expected to play against the Buffalo Bills on Sunday. Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen expressed confidence in Maye, saying he is a smart and talented player who will figure things out. The Bills' defense has allowed 31 points in each of their first two games, offering Maye a chance to rebound.
