Danish artist Jens Galschiot displays gold statue of Donald Trump naked at European Parliament in Strasbourg, France

A satirical gold statue of U.S. President Donald Trump, naked and sitting on the shoulders of a smaller man, was displayed at the European Parliament in Strasbourg, France. The 2.5-meter statue, titled "The Orange Plague," was created by Danish artist Jens Galschiot and is covered in 23-karat gold. It was invited by Danish MEP Per Clausen and will remain until Thursday before heading to the COP31 UN Climate Conference in Turkey. The statue criticizes Trump's impact on climate action and democratic values. The White House has not commented.
