New York Jets sign quarterback Will Levis to practice squad after Tennessee Titans release

The New York Jets, an NFL team in the United States, have signed quarterback Will Levis to their practice squad. The move comes after their overtime loss to the Green Bay Packers. To make room, they released Bailey Zappe. Levis, 27, was a second-round pick in 2023 and played for the Tennessee Titans, starting 21 games with 3,899 passing yards, 21 touchdowns, and 16 interceptions. He missed 2025 due to shoulder surgery and was waived by the Titans in August. The Jets have Geno Smith and Cade Klubnik as their active quarterbacks, with Levis as third-string.
