Catholic priests and nuns march to Vatican to demand end to Gaza genocide

On Tuesday, about 150 Catholic priests, friars, a bishop, and nuns from around the world marched to the Vatican in Rome, Italy, to demand an end to what they called the genocide in Gaza. They carried a banner with names of 300 children who died in the conflict. The group, Priests Against Genocide, was formed in August 2025 and has over 2,500 members. After praying near St. Peter's Basilica, they visited Palestinian and Lebanese embassies and the headquarters of Leonardo SpA. The protest was larger than last year's march. Gaza health officials report over 73,000 Palestinian deaths.
