Chicago Bears undecided on starting quarterback for New York Jets game, Tyson Bagent gets first-team reps
The Chicago Bears have ruled out quarterback Caleb Williams for their Week 4 game against the New York Jets due to a hamstring injury. In his absence, veteran Case Keenum led the team to a 27-7 victory over the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday Night Football, throwing for 247 yards and two touchdowns. However, head coach Ben Johnson has not named a starter for the Jets game, and reports indicate that Tyson Bagent has been taking first-team reps in practice. Bagent, who was Williams' backup, is now fully healthy after clearing concussion protocol. The Jets will also be missing key players, including running back Breece Hall.
